I hope that in GW2 your reward for getting GWAMM is another title. Now that would be funny

Arduinna: I must admit I also like WoW's mapping system. Of course you have to get on one particular spot to get it to uncover, but at least you don't have to uncover every pixel for it to count.
Ghost Omel: That would be awesome! Remains of Rostcale. hahaha
tehlemming & Still Number One: lol I could make a video about it, and I'm glad you'd watch it. Maybe I'll make videos about the game like Yahtzee does (don't know if I can post the link here but it's the Zero Punctuations dude from Escapist Magazine if anyone knows what I'm talking about).

all of them are pointless

Not true, all titles have an effect on who gets picked over whom, and makes the game very derogatory, go gw's, next step = racism

Titles are far from pointless.
-Get dwarven and norn maxed out
-Get Drunken master and Feel no pain
-Get a keg of aged ale
-Equip melee weapon
-Drink of the booze
-There we go! The king of Leeroy bars!

Talking about drunkard... it causes things like that:
People always drink when possible to max the title. Always.
So they usually turn off "post processing" of effects, so that they can play without blurred vision.
People also log into the game, appear in the guild hall and swallow a transform potion, start a firework, start drinking as the first things they do.
This is what titles have made of GW. :P
P.S.: Bring me five Rotten Scales of Rotten Rotscale for my new Wammo fragrance.

That's what it means, they are pointless and harmful.

titles...a mixed bag to be sure....if they had never introduced them the game would have been much better. Unfortunately, they did in a 'we hope to save the game' measure, dont think it worked...the people who are working on these are also the people who would have stayed anyways.
As one of those who got gm cartographer without texmod I was very happy to finally be able to use it (have gm now on 4 characters).
Since the introduction of faction based pve skills the need for some of the title has increased (need is too strong a word, but its late)....maxing out sunspear helps with some skills as well as lightbringer for vanquishing them pesky morganites! ditto for the eye titles that have related skills.
Now the useful titles---lucky and unlucky (seem to be better at unlucky) as well as wisdom and treasure hunter...are nice to get at a higher level for the better lockpick retention rate. (its always nice to have a cool gold weapon)
as I dont pvp I have absolutely no use for any of those nor will I mention them.
